Adult Patient Services

At Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan (CLF), we understand that when you are diagnosed with a blood cancer, your whole life is turned upside down. We offer a range of support and resources for you and your family, in an effort to make this process much easier and stress free.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

From the time you call to get information or submit an enrollment form, you are connected with one of our highly trained Patient Services Coordinators (PSCs), who will walk you through the services we offer and begin the process of assisting you with your needs. If you would like to download the enrollment form right from our website, please click here.

Our PSCs will listen to your specific needs and provide a steady hand through tough times. They can provide emotional support, casework, education, and referral services to help guide you to the resources you need.

We also host a monthly drop-in support group for adults diagnosed with a blood cancer. You don’t need to register in advance. Click here to get more information about this group.

INFORMATION AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

As a newly enrolled patient, you will receive Stepping Stones, a 150-page binder filled with information, interactive exercise, and additional resources to empower you and your family with the information you need to gain answers to any question you may have. Click here for more information on Stepping Stones.

CLF offers a Resource Room, which gives you access to print, audio, video, and electronic information to help you and your family learn more about your blood cancer and its related issues. You can access our Resource room during regular business hours or a PSC can mail you information related to your specific concern. Click here for more information on our Resource Room.
