MEMORIAL DONATION

If you wish to make a donation in memory of a lost family member or friend, CLF will send a card to the family or spouse of the deceased acknowledging your thoughtful donation. You will also receive a card to confirm that your donation has been received and a gift card has been sent.

TRIBUTE/SPECIAL OCCASION

If you wish to make a donation honoring someone or a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.), CLF will send a card to the honoree acknowledging your thoughtful donation. You will also receive a card to confirm that your donation has been received and that a gift card has been sent. The amount of your donation will remain confidential.

ENDOWMENT FUNDS

COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ENDOWMENT FUND FOR CLF

The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan holds endowment investments that are earmarked for Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. In addition to the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan Fund, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan also holds nine additional named funds which also benefit Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. These include:

SYLVIA & HARRY BROWN ENDOWMENT FUND

In September, 2007 Children’s Leukemia Foundation publicly launched an endowment fund at an inaugural auction and dinner gala at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.

To honor and celebrate their contribution to the organization, CLF named the endowment fund for Sylvia and Harry Brown and set the ambitious goal to continue with and build upon the worthwhile work the Browns began over a half-century ago. The purpose of the endowment fund is to provide consistent revenue and reduce the reliance on other types of funding sources.
