For seven years, Ransom Fidelity Company supported Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan through grants for Emergency Needs, Peer Support and Special Days. In ’96 they indicated they wished the grant to be designated as a memorial to Marjorie, the daughter of a friend who lost her battle with leukemia. In recognition of their long standing support, CLF placed a tile on the wall in her name. Marjorie’s mother attended the dedication.

Margaret and Donald Harris

Margie and Don Harris are parents of M. Julie Clark. Sister of Katie.

Julie was diagnosed with leukemia, survived and married. Unfortunately, Julie was diagnosed with a brain tumor and lost her battle in 2004. Margie is a past Board Chair. Don also served on the board.

Al and Billie Socall

Parents of former CLF staff, Beth Socall.

Both of Beth’s parents died unexpectedly and very close together. The tile was established as a way to honor their memory.

Stanton Harry Hutton

I believe he is the father of Dr. Lenny Hutton.

This tile was established during the time the Commemorative Wall offered such at a specific gift level.

Joseph W. Taranowsky

Husband to Jacqueline. Father of Susan Di Anna, Marlene and grandchildren Joseph and Alexandra.

The Taranowsky family made a donation to underwrite the design and production costs for the Commemorative Wall. Joseph’s daughter Susan Taran-Kolhler served on the committee and CLF’s Board of Directors. See plaque located next to wall.

Mr. Miller left a large bequest to Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan. This bequest supported the final phase of CLF’s endowment campaign.
